Ok, I made this dress back in January and totally forgot to take pictures of it.....
I was reminded by a friend who couldn't find pictures of it XXDD
Anyway XD
I made this dress for Venetian Carnival 2014, but wore it only once because I totally misplaced the bones and the bodice was PAINFUL. A lot T__T I still can't believe I could misplace the bones so badly, but it happened
I did make it in a rush and I wasn't really paying attention, but I had to replace all of them later and it was a pain XD
It's perfectly wearable now XD
This dress is made of burgundy silk velevet and silk thread embroideries and consists of a full circle skirt, tudor-inspired coreseted bodice and a lace+chains chest piece that I embroidered with my embroidery machine
All embroideries and lace parts were machine made by me using Urban Threads' designs www.urbanthreads.com/ , I wanted the theme to be "dark rose" so I chose the most gothic roses designs they had
The chest piece is a combination of lace designs also by Urban Threads that I linked together with copper and black chains I really like lace&chains combination
I also made matching lace gloves but I didn't find a way to show them on the mannequin...I have to find pictures of me in it that showcase them XD
...the white stuff you see at the edge of the bodice is the stuffing I use to check the fit of a corset on the mannequin. The fact that you can see it sort of shows that the bodice is rather low cut...XD

I would so wear this out..AND with the gloves! So when people asked me if I was going to a party.... I would coyly look away and quietly say.... nope, errands.....
