So this is my Kaiserin Elisabeth's Hungarian coronation gown replica, coming from the german musical & Takarazuka's 2002 production's scene "wenn ich tanzen will"
That's absolutely my favourite song from the musical, I love it SO much >w< I even know it by heart in german...and I don't speak german
At first I wanted to make a replica of the original gown, but lace is just SO expensive and couldn't afford it ;_; so I mixed the german and Takarazuka dress designs and came out with this One day I'll make a replica of the original gown, really ><

This work is not stock and is protected by creative commons - ask permission before using (chances are high that I'll say yes xD)!!
I got it in some random shop in Venice XD they are bestsellers I think, every shop has them! Have you checked on Etsy? Or Ebay? Unfortunately I don't know any shop in Venice that sells online ;_;
Wow!!!! That's great!!! do contact me before you leave - shops open and close very quickly there and prices vary A LOT, I can give you updates on where to buy them for the cheapest price
(for example I bought mine for 10€, but the same mask in some other shops sells for 55€ or more O_O)
Also, me and Germany thanks you xD
I'm so glad you like it
Where is this taken?
This was taken in Venice, next to the Dogana museum
...me too don't know German XD or Japanese... though I somehow learned most of the Elisabeth's songs, and even don't remember when XD
The dress looks better on a human than on a mannequin
I can't speak a single word of German but I know Elisabeth songs^^
Thank you so much
Is this Kaiserin Sisi from Austria? (Oh well, Empress of Austria and Queen of Hungary to be precise) You know, I come from Austria!!! *__*
I cannot believe someone does a cosplay of her! I love you so much for doing this.
Hehe, and as you cannot speak German: in case you need something translated from German to English, I can help.
It's that Sissi actually I LOVE Habsburg history and I think Sissi was a very controversial part of that history
One day I also want to make a cosplay of Maria Theresa of Austria
Since I am always short of money for my costumes I usually make replicas of the costumes from Sissi's musical, but one day I want to make replicas of the original dresses she wore *O*
Thank you so much!!! I'm trying hard to study german but it's so difficult ><;
You study German? For how long have you been studying it? Yeah, it is not easy, but if you visit Vienna, you can practise by speaking a bit German there.
I've been trying to study german since...hmm...a couple of years ago? More or less XD but the point is that since I speak japanese and english most time for work I really have huge difficulties learning german ;__;
But yes!!! I really want to practise it in Vienna
Thank you so much for your interest!! I really liked your photos and thank you for the watch&faves
I am envious because I couldn't get to Carnivale this year. I hope you had a fabulous time!
It's a shame you couldn't be here ><;; it was AWFULLY cold but it was nevertheless a lovely carnival DDD
I really love the final result of this photo, too, with San Marco in the back
Lovely, lovely gown.
So happy you like the gown!!!!
