Ok, let me say something before anything else....IT'S FINISHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEED!!!!!!!!! YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :boogie::faint:
Sorry, it took so long I just needed to scream it out XD

This was my HUGE project for Lucca Comics 2013, which turned out to be THE PROJECT for all 2013 as it took some incredible 3 months to finish XD it was way more complicated than Maria Theresa even if that one included a new cage and crinoline XD

So...I love OUaT, and Belle is my favourite character:heart: I'm a huge rumbeller too, by the way:heart::heart: I'm planning on making most of her outfits, and decided to start simple as you can see:dead:
The dress itself was very simple to make, it's a pleated skirt (took 3 hours to make the pleats look something like the original XD) with a plain bodice, the hard part was making all the embroider...but you will get an absurdly detailed deviation with all the different types of beads I used as I suppose not everyone is interested in reading about embroider XD

I modified the bodice because frankly speaking I just didn't like the hooks on the original one...so I decided to have a corset lacing. I chose to use a ribbon the same colour as the decorations to give contrast, and I have to say I really like the result:boogie:
The bodice is very lightly boned on the front and sides (I used Rigylene sewable bones, some 9 of them) and sports 4 hard plastic bones on the back to support the lacing :) I think the original one had the same kind of light boning - if any - but since I have bigger bosom than Emilie De Ravin I had to use a bit more of them XD the lacing look awful in picture but it's better on flesh XD Hisoka (my mannequin) is not happy to be laced up (=.=;; ) I would have made it to be worn with a corset underneath but this time, for the sake of correct cosplay fit (.................), I decided to avoid it.
The skirt is supported by one crinoline, a lightweight tulle petticoat and a cotton one. I have large hips so I don't need to add paddings for fluffiness, they work fine by themselves XD
By the way, I'm absolutely aware that the stitches on the front of the embroider are hydeous, it was just the best way to attach it XD I tried to leave the piece as one but the fit was awful XD

I think this was one of the most expensive dresses I ever made. I wanted to use a fabric just like the original and found the perfect silk shangtung in Milan:heart: ...the only problem was the price but I gladly payed it XD 5mt = 100€ :faint: adding all the beads it went up to 170€ which is an awful amount for my standards (=___=;;; )
But I love the result so it's ok XD
It's only a nightmare to iron it. I think you can see it from the pictures XD

For the sake of personal pain to see them written down, this dress took:
- 10 hours for the skirt+bust, including pattern-fabric cut-fit-sewing;
- 157 hours for the embroider. Yes. I calculated them.

...my camera broke so the pictures are rather awful, sorry =_= I'm going to buy a new one...at some point, and take better ones:thumbsup:

At least all that hard work paid off in the end. :)
