Description

I made this quite some time ago but just got around posting it XD
I LOVE "Who framed Roger Rabbit" and Jessica is one of my favourite characters EVER:heart::heart:
I always loved how her dress sparkled in the movie and when I saw this fabric...it was just PERFECT XD it's completely made of paillettes on a lycra base :D it's awfully scratchy so I had to line it with double stretch satin to avoid cuts all over XD

Since I'm a little of a "what if you really were to wear something like this in real life" nerd, I thought about how a lady with very large bust would be able to sport a dress like this XD after a lot of study and try I opted for a corset XD
So this dress is made to be worn with an edwardian-like corset (that stops under the bust to push it out and clinches in the waist up to 15cm xD) but it shows in the back, so I added a sheer layer of chiffon with ribbons to cover it...so it's some sort of modified Jessica ;D and well, you wouldn't really be able to wear a dress open down to your low back with such a bust, right? XD you'd need some sort of fastening XD
The cut is a very simple princess seam with a slit :D it took I think less than 10 hours to make it :)
I had the chance to wear this only once and for a limited time, but I'd love to wear it again as it's a lot of fun :D

Dress making: me XD
Photo&very poor edit: me XD
